My name is\u00a0Matthew S. Rosin<\/strong> [he\/him\/his], and I\u2019m an essayist, songwriter, and stay-at-home dad. Once upon a time, I was an education thinker and policy wonk. (I hold a Ph.D. in Education.) But nowadays, my passion for understanding how people learn and grow runs through my creative work\u00a0and family life.<\/p>\n

I write about fatherhood<\/strong> as a learning process. I’m author of the memoir-in-essays Fatherhood Is Learning<\/em> (2021)<\/a> and publisher of the Fatherhood Is Learning<\/em> newsletter<\/a>. (For more of my fatherhood writing, click through here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

I write fiction<\/strong>, too: my short stories<\/a> has appeared in\u00a0KYSO Flash<\/em>,\u00a0The Luxembourg Review<\/em>,\u00a0r.kv.r.y. quarterly<\/em>, and\u00a0Shotgun Honey<\/em>, and I\u2019m author of the novelette\u00a0The Honeydrop Tree<\/em> (2015)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I compose and record songs<\/a><\/strong> that blend popular and experimental\u00a0genres.<\/p>\n

I’m also a poet<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
